Printing Green: When you gotta print hardcopy

Following are tips on printing green from the ASAE Convene Green Alliance:Recycle

  1. Make certain you clean up your distribution list so you do not overprint.
  2. Can your printed piece serve multiple audiences and purposes?
  3. Use recycled paper, vegetable- or soy-based inks, and aqueous coatings.
  4. Print on both sides using smallest standard-size paper possible.
  5. Ask your printer for an Environmental Impact Statement or other metrics.
  6. Use sustainably certified printers.
